The Indonesian Food Composition data (DKPI) Working Group

In February 26, 2018, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia issued a Minister of Health of Republic of Indonesia Decree No. HK.01.07/Menkes/121/2016 on Nutrition Quality and Adequacy Standards Working Group, among which was Working Group III for Indonesian Food Composition data (DKPI).
The task of the DKPI Working Group was to review and formulate the Indonesian Food Composition List with the following job description: (1) review and write an academic manuscript the development of Indonesia Food Composition Data; (2) conduct regular working group meetings to review each new food composition data; and (3) Conduct guideline and procedure of food analysis and other methods in complementing food composition data.

In completing food composition data the Ministry of Health will also cooperate with the Food Security Agency (BKP) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, BPPT, Research Institute, Health Polytechnic and universities in Indonesia.
The working group would like to acknowledge the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) Indonesia for supporting the process of developing the FCT 2017 and Indonesian FCT website.
